The annual Farms for Schools Conference 2007
Wednesday 21st and Thursday 22nd February
Chatsworth House, Chatsworth, Bakewell, Derbyshire
The 2007 conference was a great success, we would like to thank all the speakers,
workshop leaders, sponsors and delegates for their contributions and also
a big thank you to the staff at Chatsworth for all their support.
The FFS conference, provides a golden opportunity to meet up with others, to exchange ideas and to learn from professional trainers and others in the industry. Each day is started with a discussion forum from eminent speakers and facilitators, from the world of both education and countryside/environment. These were followed by 4 workshops per day - 3 out of the 4 were selected. The workshops covered many issues concerned with running an open farm, funding, current curriculum and issues concerning primary and secondary schools.
