The Farms for Schools Conference 2008

The annual Farms for Schools Conference 2008
Wednesday 30th & Thursday 31st January
Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester

If you are attending the conference please park in the Stroud Road Car Park. (see map below)

Registration on Wed - is at 9.30am Glass Atrium outside Parkinson Lecture Theatre (21) and Library (19) - known as Library Foyer. Stands will also be situated here.

For those of you just attending on Thursday please register at 9.30am Boutflour Hall entrance (5). Stands will also be situated here.

Rooms for Wednesday afternoon workshops are all situated in the building marked 15 on the map.

The dinner on Wed evening is in the Kenneth Russell Room above the Front Reception (marked at the south end of the buildings)

Being the year of Food and Farming in Education it is only right and fitting that the 2008 National Conference is set to take place at an Educational Establishment. In fact the Royal Agricultural College was the first Agricultural college in the English speaking world.
The two day event will be held in the beautiful surroundings of the Samuel Whitfield Daukes, Victorian Gothic Style College. Accommodation is also available at the college but this is limited to 15 rooms. If it is your first visit to the Cotswolds then I recommend you take time to see some of the gems it has to offer.
