Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 Fungus Foray. 2pm start. Learn simple identification techniques for all major fungus groups. Family fun. Booking required

Tuesday 21 - Sunday 26 Sausage Week. Celebrating the great British banger with sausages made from Temple Newsam Home Farm rare breed pigs. Special menu available at the Stable Courtyard Cafe.

Friday 31 Halloween Hauntings evening opening. Family event - come and meet the ghosts and ghouls of Temple Newsam. Explore spooky corridors and listen out for spectral footsteps. Cafe open with spooky treats. Normal admission applies.

Saturday 1 & Sunday 2 Ghost Walk. Spooktacular evening tours - not for the faint-hearted. Booking required.

December

Saturday 12 - Sunday 20 Victorian Christmas Week. Celebrate Christmas past with a week of Victorian parlour games, Christmas decoration making and carol singing. For more details call 0113 2647321.

Sunday 14 Christmas Crafts. Workshop - learn to make your own natural Christmas decorations. Materials provided. Donations only.

Sunday 19 National Apple Day Celeration. Apple picture competition and information on our native apples, with a special Apple Day menu in the Stable courtyard Cafe.

Wednesday 29 Love Birds 1pm-3pm. Prepare feeders to take home to help see the birds through the winter.
