Membership(which will now be valid until the end of 2008) costs £95.00 per annum for fee-charging members and £45.00 pa for those who offer free admission. Cheques should be made payable to Farms for Schools.

Membership Information

Membership to FFS includes:

Free copies of our members' newsletter containing current and relevant information for members, updates, training and schemes taking place for members.
A Certificate, which confirms that you subscribe to our 'Charter of Good Practice'. Inspections of farms are made periodically on a random basis, to ensure that standards are maintained and to offer members advice/recommendations.
Regional support networks.
Representation of the sector at a national level.
An annual national conference, where members gain significantly subsidised rates. The conference will have keynote speakers and workshops taking place that are relevant to the educational needs of our members; plus other topics that have become important to our members over the previous 12 months.
An opportunity to become involved in the Accreditation Scheme for farms that take school & educational visits. This scheme is aiming to improve the quality of farm visits for both schools and farms. Both strands of the scheme are now up and running, please ask for further information.
Advice, information and support on a wide variety of relevant issues through the FFS office and the website, which also provides numerous very useful links with related organisations.

Being a FFS member also entitles you to automatic entry onto two other websites.
